Tunaman · TCG Card Scanner
Scan your cards. Know what you've got.
Point your phone at a Pokémon card. Tunaman names the printing, prices it, and files it away before you reach for the next one.
What it does
Hooked on sight
Point the camera at a card. Tunaman reads the name and number off the print and finds the match by set and card number, in a few seconds. You pick the card's Variant.
The tackle box
Every card you own, newest first. Set pages count what's still missing, and the Pokédex fills in as you catch them.
The ledger
Market prices from TCGdex and a running total for the whole collection. Cards nobody has priced yet say so instead of guessing.
A whole pack in one sitting
Scan a booster back to back without stopping, then look over the lot and add them together.
Why it exists
It was built for one 12-year-old who lost his card tracker to a paywall, three hundred cards into a collection he could no longer add to. Everything below is how the app works today, and each line can be checked against the code.
- Free, with no subscription
- Nothing is behind a paywall. There are no paid tiers and no billing of any kind.
- Tunaman keeps no photos
- Tunaman never stores the picture. To read a card it goes to an AI vision service, which sends back text — a name, a collector number and a set size. Those three, the time, and how the match turned out are what your scan history keeps, for at least 90 days.
- No ads, no analytics
- No advertising and no third-party trackers. When something breaks, Sentry gets a crash report so it can be fixed. It never includes who you are, what you searched for, or any card photo. The only other record is your own scan history, in your own account.
- Invite only
- Creating an account needs a family invite code. There is no public sign-up, no chat and no comments.
